A fine first edition, first printing, first impression of An Interview with J.K. Rowling by Lindsay Fraser, part of the Telling Tales series of interviews with favourite children's authors, for children, published by Mammoth in 2000, when J. K. Rowling had written the first three books of the Harry Potter series. The book contains an early interview with J.K. Rowling asking her questions under the headings My Family and Childhood, My Schooldays, My Career, My Career as a Writer plus an overview by Lindsay Fraser of the first three Harry Potter books and a Bibliography in date order to 2000. The fine (as new, unread and pristine condition) book has black paperback covers with orange titles on the cover & spine and an early photo of J.K. Rowling on the back and a small photo composition highlighting her early life. The tight, bright book has no marks, bumps or writings over its 60 pages. The reverse of the title page has no number line or first edition statement but the copyright year shown is 2000. The interview shows the influences on her life and how that in turn influenced some of her many characters in her Harry Potter books.
