Best Books of 2016

Flashback 2016!

A year that witnessed the historical nomination and award of Nobel Prize for Literature to Bob Dylan, the recognition of a a controversial sociologist, Paul Beatty to receive the Man Booker Prize 2016, selection of Han Kang, the teacher in Seoul Institute of the Arts as the winner of the 2016 Man Booker International Prize for the finest global fiction in translation, "The Vegetarian".

While these are some of the best books and authors of the year receiving the highest recognitions, there is a large collection of work by authors who have marginally missed these recognitions but in no way any less. They are novels, memoirs and nonfiction that many readers really loved, either because they were so delightfully fun we couldn't put them down, or because they showed us something about ourselves we didn't yet know.

Checkout the books that have impressed our members and readers worldwide for their theme, content and presentation. You may have already read and relished some of them, or you may have missed some of them - no harm in just having a look!
